Release Date : 2006-11-01 A month ago, our European customers responded to us that they had difficulties installing OpenBSD 3.9 to our Teak 3010 platform, which is using AMD LX-800 CPU and CS-5536 chipset. The issue was OpenBSD 3.9 couldn't recognize AMD LX-800 CPU FP. As soon as we knew about customer's problem, we instantly tried every possible way to solve this issue, and we have contacted OpenBSD.org and donated our hardwares to them to support and help them fixing this bug. It was a pleasant experience to co-work with the OpenBSD organization. The OpenBSD organization is a really professional team and the crews were very aggressive and eagerly wanting to solve the problem, which therefore resulted in fixing the bug within ten days. The efficiency of OpenBSD's crews really impressed us and our customers.
We would like to express our special appreciation to the OpenBSD organization especially to Mr. Tom Cosgrove and Mr. Theo de Raadt, whom had done a terrific job on solving the problem. Due to OpenBSDâs security strength, when combining with our products it gives us the ability to offer the best solution and choice for network security software developers and system integrators.
